The next MX Endurance member in our series of Member Spotlights is Alison Tschanz, who hails from Geneva, Switzerland.

A beautician by trade, Alison took on triathlon as a challenge after losing weight. She reveals, “Did my first race in May 2019 and fell in love with the sport ever since!”

Her favorite distance is 70.3 and she already has a full slate of racing planned for the second half of the year. After warming up over the Olympic distance with the Geneva Triathlon this month, she will go on to race Ironman 70.3 Maastricht in August then back up for Ironman 70.3 Sardegna in October.

Having joined MX Endurance in the past year, she has just gotten onto one of our training plans exclusively available to members. Even without a one-on-one coach, she is able to get structured training which will help her get ready for her next races.

Apart from her work which gives her plenty of entertaining stories, she is also a foodie and loves to spend time with her dog Laïka. But Alison admits endurance sport takes up a lot of her time.

She is proudest of always finishing her races with a smile, even if it was tough. She credits it to her personality. “I’m a smiling and positive person, always up for a challenge.”
