Swim Coach

When swimmers and triathletes want to get faster in the water it’s not often a matter of training harder. Fitness can only take a person so far in swimming. The most effective way to increase speed and endurance is by improving your technique. Brenton Ford is our Expert on Call for that.

Brenton is our swim coach and the Head Coach at Effortless Swimming. He has worked with thousands of people through clinics, camps, and online coaching, mostly with triathletes to help them with their swim.

A bit more about Brenton:

  • Australian National Age Finalist (400 IM, 200 Breaststroke, 200 IM)
  • National Masters Record Holder
  • Australian National Masters Coach of the Year (2012)
  • Australian Masters National Championship Coach (2009, 2012, 2013)

Brenton has the ability to look at your stroke, break it down and make simple suggestions on visualizations and drills that make a difference. He works with MX Endurance members through video analysis on our exclusive online group, providing recommended drills and focus points to start the process of changing stroke technique for the better.

"Looking forward to putting your suggestions to good use. First two mile open water swim comin' up and I've got just enough time to throw these ideas into the mix. Thanks again, sincerely." - Andy Blasquez
"Hi Brenton, I did one of your classes in Newcastle last year. I got a lot out of it and still complete some of the drills that were given to me. I believe I’m a better swimmer after it. Thanks." - Elechia Jones
